There comes a time in every man’s life when he needs some help.
Moving, putting in a boat lift, fixing a car, the list can be endless. In my case it’s ideas. For the past few days I have been trying to come up with an idea to post and have been coming up dry.
What better way to get some ideas than turn to other people who are out everyday living Life to its fullest? So I ask you free spirited thinking people; if you had your own leadership blog what would be the first entry you would put on your blog. Or flat out, what topic would you like for me to write on? I will post your ideas for all to read in the comments and one week from today I will write an article on my favorite choice.
For the past few years I have worked with some of the most creative, fun, free-spirited, dynamic individuals anyone could ever be associated with. We will all enjoy reading your ideas. Steve Leurquin

Hey bud, after hearing some conversations this past weekend . How about a post of your thoughts on choosing between the known and unknown environments of a persons life, and what it takes to step out into the unknown.
Title: Leave your shoes on the mat
Content: Can’t wait to read it!!
Public school theory on education vs. home school education from the vantage of the teacher/parent and your thoughts on the future of education in America.
Deep! I like your thinking Jammie.
Steve,
Just like you talked about ‘Our greatest fear’ poem you could break that poem apart on here and explain the meaning and importance as it relates to living the life you’ve always wanted. Or how about talking about ‘the rascal gene’ in your perspective of being a rascal! Hope this helps
I like that idea too! That is a really good poem
That is a great idea Kristen. As a fellow blog owner yourself I don’t want to take any great ideas you may have.
How about a blog series? Take some of the great books we read through our system and give you thoughts on them. OR pick one of the 8 F’s and do a three blog series on each F.
Great idea Greg!
Greg, that’s a great idea!
I would love to see you write about the Rocky movies-what makes them so great and what makes the character himself so great?
Oh man! Don’t get me started! Rocky has the wisdom taught throughout the series that has all a person needs to be successful in life! Thanks Adam.
Nice one Adam! Gotta love Rocky….eye of the tiger!!
“Eye of the tiger” – like from Life In The Zone!! Thanks for the reminder
Your perspective on the american family; in the 21st century. Past, current and future thoughts.
Steve…
With your background as a christian, husband, father, coach, mentor and former high school teacher; I feel your journey in the past several years could shed some light on where the foundation meets the road; to our country’s future generations and for their success.
Maybe reference some materials that have improved your family; and the families that you & Jamie have helped as well.
That’s pretty deep! I may need some time on this one but you have given me some food for thought! Thanks for you idea Steve.
That IS deep! I would love to read an article like that as well, and with all your different perspectives I think you would be a great source for that info!
Stop and Smell the Roses, one of your stongest strenghths in my mind is your ability to reframe for others the importance of being a kid again!! S you always put a smile on everyone’s face. Just a reminder of those things would be so great now and again. E
Excellent idea! Yes it is important to slow down and have some fun. I’ll see what I can do on this one.
Or…
We have ‘extreme sports’ – is there such a thing as ‘extreme leadership’ and if so, what would it look like?
And Again!
I’d be interested in hearing some of your thoughts from the “Strong Willed Child” that you were reading and applying that with leadership ideas…?
Good one!
I love to read or listen to your story ! The Leurquin story is incredible! How did you overcame obstacles … I want to hear how you and Dan built the relationship and you ran as a team. your passion and how you had to make the decision on to keep teaching or to impact larger groups of people
!
Thanks Robert! That is a great idea. I may not be able to stop and one choice and have enough material for a month +.
Those who think to highly of themselves, don’t think enough- Think of others first.
Thanks for your idea Chad!
My first topic would be on attitude. After last nights Life challenge group it definately makes you really think about it. I have been doing the 21 day no complaining challenge. You go 21 days without complaining. Let me be the first to say its tough especially in this society, but I’m happy to report I have now made it to 10 days without complaining
. You have to have your attitude right if you want to lead.
Last night’s challenge group was awesome! So many great points from many different people. We could do an attitude part two Challenge Group!
Those who think too highly of themselves, don’t think enough.
Thanks for being the first with an idea Tim. I will check it out. Tune back in to see if you made the cut!
Steve,
Have you read the article that was in SI Back in FEB 2012 about Mike Powell. I thought it was a good read. My give you some ideas. Here is a like to the article.
